As our mission statement asserts, we are people in action who share the love, grace, and peace of Christ. That love comes in many forms, both tangible and intangible. We are called to minister to the suffering, work to eliminate poverty, pray for healing of our communities, and to provide swift and compassionate response to disasters small and large.
At Warrenton Presbyterian Church, we incorporate mission activities into nearly every aspect of church life. On any given day, you will find workers in the garden, growing food for the community pantry; volunteers in the library organizing school supplies for needy students; carpenters and handy-folk planning the next trip to Baja, West Virginia, or the neighborhood Habitat build; children raising funds to supply families in far-off lands with sustainable livestock through Heifer International; the list goes on…
Be sure to read and follow our prayer calendar to support our missions throughout the year.
About Presbyterian Missions
For over 200 years, Presbyterians have been responding to the call of Jesus Christ, taking the gospel into all the world and bearing witness to Christ’s saving love to the ends of the earth. Today the Holy Spirit is still on the move, calling us to share in what God is doing in the world. As your partner in Christ’s service, the Presbyterian Mission Agency is faithfully working to inspire, equip and connect all Presbyterians to do Christ’s mission, bringing together congregations, worshiping communities, mid councils, mission networks and other parts of the church ecosystem as they nurture and shape disciples and serve Christ in the world.Learn more about P.C.
